Dr. Lauren Woodie is a Postdoc Trainee in the Institute for Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Woodie will present on the topic “The Physio-Metabolic Effects of Western Diet-Induced Obesity in a Male Mouse Model”.
Dr. Sharon Ladyman and Dr. Victoria Vieira-Potter share their current research on rodent metabolic phenotyping with a focus on the effects of hormones and pregnancy on daily activity in mice.
Dr. John Lighton and Dr. Daniel Lark discuss how to integrate metabolic phenotyping with behavioral paradigms, the importance of temporal resolution, and how to avoid common pitfalls when executing behavioral and metabolic tests.
